Afghanistan:- Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a quickfire 30 off 22 balls. Wafiullah managed only 1 run. Darwish Rasooli tried to accelerate, scoring 14 off 9 balls, but couldn’t last long. Mohammad Nabi remained unbeaten on 20 off 12 balls, and Azmatullah Omarzai remained unbeaten on 17 off 19 balls to take the team’s score to 147.
After losing 3 wickets for 24 runs, captain Zakir Ali and Shamim Hussain steadied the innings. Both of them made a half-century partnership for the fourth wicket and took the team to 80 runs. Zakir Ali was LBW on the fifth ball of the 11th over by Rashid Khan after scoring 32(25). Bangladesh crossed 100 runs in 13.5 overs.
